Umbrella organization for all kind of artists:
There is no specific Artists Council in Germany.
The Deutscher Kulturrat (German Cultural Council), www.kulturrat.de is the umbrella organisation of the federal cultural associations. Direct members are eight sections representative of artistic branches: German Music Council, Performing Arts, German Literature Conference, Arts Council, Council for Building Culture, Design Section, Film and Media Section, Council for Socio-Culture and Cultural Education. The federal associations (artists` organisations as well as collecting societies) are members of the sections.
No specific organizations for young artists – collaborating
with young curators and art historians - like, e.g., the UKK in Denmark.
